The cat that locks the pool.

Token #1310 is the team pool token. It receives 5% of every pool deposit; the other 95% goes to holders by Power Score. Whoever holds #1310 claims that share.

The artwork says it plainly: the Legendary holding the golden padlock. The 5% share is attached to #1310 itself, so it moves with it if it is ever transferred.

How minting works

Two phases — plus a Genesis set that never expires.

Public mints run in id order through the free phase (ids 11–300) and the paid phase (ids 301–1000). Separately, the six Genesis NFTs (ids 5–10) are sold through the Genesis Draw from day one — entering never blocks the public mint.

Genesis set · Token ids 5–10 · Always on sale

Genesis Set

0.0014 BNB per draw entry (about $1)
  • Ids 1–4 are the disclosed team reserve — they are never sold. One day, the team may hand them to the collection's top holder. The Genesis set is ids 5–10.
  • #5 is the Genesis Legendary — and it goes last: the sixth and final draw entry always wins it.
  • All six Genesis NFTs are sold only through the Genesis Draw — one entry per wallet, first come, first served. The first five entries receive a random NFT from ids 6–10 — all Rare or Epic, never a Common.
  • Every Genesis NFT carries +20% Power in the holder pool. The Draw ends the moment the sixth entry lands — and that final entry takes the Legendary.
Phase 1 · Token ids 11–300

Free Phase

0 BNB per mint
  • Max 1 free mint per wallet — once your free mint is used, your next mints are paid.
  • No Legendary in this phase — some Epic, the rest Rare and Common.
  • Every CATGEN is transfer-locked while the sale is live — free, paid and Genesis alike, so nobody can dump mid-sale. The lock lifts for everyone at once when the sale ends: at sellout, or when the team closes the sale for good.
  • When id 300 is minted, the free phase is over for everyone.
Phase 2 · Token ids 301–1000

Paid Phase

0.00028 BNB per mint
  • Lifetime cap 11 per wallet — 1 free + up to 10 paid. Roll the gacha as deep as you want.
  • All 7 remaining public Legendary CATGENs drop in this phase.
  • Paid-mint proceeds follow the published split — 60% goes to the holder pool (see the pool section).
Promo Segment · Token ids 1001–1309

Giveaways & Affiliates

309 Commons never sold
  • Minted only by the team — the public mint can never issue these ids.
  • Reserved for giveaways, community events and affiliate channels.
  • Share & claim: share this website on your socials, then submit your post link and BSC wallet through the claim form — the team verifies real shares and mints your free Common straight to your wallet.
  • Plain Common Power (20) — no segment bonus, exactly like every free CATGEN.

Submissions are open. One promo CATGEN per verified share — the team reviews every submission by hand.

Holder pool

A pool the team funds by hand.

The holder pool is funded manually by the team, under a published split the team commits to. First-sale (mint) proceeds: 60% to the holder pool, 20% to a buyback fund, 20% to the team. The buyback fund buys CATGENs back from the market, and the NFTs it buys are awarded to the collection's top holder. After the first sale, the 5% secondary-sale royalties are split 80% to the holder pool, 10% to the buyback fund, 10% to the team — so royalties keep feeding the pool forever. Nothing moves automatically: the team deposits the pool's share by hand, and every deposit is locked for holders the moment it lands.

  • Locked once deposited. BNB deposited into the pool becomes a holder obligation — it can only ever be claimed by holders, never withdrawn back by the team.
  • Split 95 / 5. Of every deposit, 95% is distributed to holders by Power Score and 5% goes to the team pool token #1310.
  • Accrues to minted NFTs. A deposit is shared across the NFTs minted at that moment; NFTs minted later earn from later deposits.
  • Rewards stick to the NFT. Unclaimed pool share follows the NFT when it is traded or transferred — the current holder claims it.

Rarity rules the pool: the weakest Legendary (460 Power) still out-earns the strongest Epic (120). Paying always beats free at the same tier — Genesis ids add +20% Power, paid-phase ids +15% — but a bonus can never overturn the tiers.

Utility

What holding a CATGEN gets you.

No vague promises — these are the utilities written into the contract and the collection design.

1

Holder Pool rewards

Every CATGEN earns a share of the team's pool deposits, claimable in BNB. The size of the share is set by each NFT's Power Score.

2

Power Score advantage

Rarer tiers carry far higher scores, and paying adds Power on top (+20% Genesis, +15% paid phase) — so rare, paid cats earn the most from every pool deposit.

3

Rewards stick to the NFT

Unclaimed pool share follows the NFT when it is traded or transferred. Whoever currently holds the NFT is the one who claims its rewards.

4

Holder leaderboard

A wallet's score is the sum of its CATGENs' Power Scores. Top holders get featured on the leaderboard, and holder events are planned for the top ranks.

Utility runs on the Power Score system — see the exact rarity weights and the paid-mint bonus in the Power Score table in the Holder Pool section above.

FAQ

Everything, disclosed up front.

What is CATGEN?

CATGEN (CTN) is a 1,310-piece cat NFT collection on BNB Smart Chain: 1,309 public NFTs plus 1 team pool token (#1310). It has a three-step mint — 10 Genesis, 290 free, then 700 paid — plus a 309-piece promo segment (ids 1001–1309) that the team mints only for giveaways and affiliate channels; it is never sold. The holder pool is funded manually by the team.

How does the free mint work?

Public mints run in id order: ids 11–300 are the free phase — each wallet can mint 1 free CATGEN — and from id 301 on, mints are paid at 0.00028 BNB. Ids 1–4 are the team reserve. The Genesis set (ids 5–10) is sold separately at any time: all six Genesis NFTs (ids 5–10) are sold only through the Genesis Draw (0.0014 BNB, about $1, per entry — one entry per wallet; the first five entries receive a random NFT from ids 6–10 and the sixth and final entry receives the Genesis Legendary, #5); Genesis buys do not count toward the mint caps. The lifetime public-mint cap is 11 per wallet (1 free + up to 10 paid), max 4 per transaction.

Can I get a Legendary from the free mint?

No — and that is by design, stated openly. The free phase (ids 11–300) contains no Legendary — some Epic, the rest Rare and Common. The only Legendary below id 301 is #5, the Genesis Legendary, and it is the final prize of the Genesis Draw — never a free mint. The other Legendaries drop in the paid phase (ids 301–1000).

Which CATGENs does the team hold?

Tokens #1–#4 are the developer/team allocation — one of each rarity (#1 Legendary, #2 Epic, #3 Rare, #4 Common), pre-minted to the team wallet. One day, the team may hand these four tokens to the collection's top holder — the #1 spot on the Power Score leaderboard. Every other token is assigned by a seeded shuffle, except the disclosed promo segment (ids 1001–1309). The team also receives token #1310, the team pool token (see below). No other tokens are reserved.

What is #1310, the team pool token?

Token #1310 is the team pool token. It receives 5% of every pool deposit; the other 95% goes to holders by Power Score. Whoever holds #1310 claims that share. It is a single special token outside the public supply, and it carries no Power Score of its own.

How do I get a free promo CATGEN?

Share this website on your social media, then submit the proof. Use the Share & Claim button in the promo section: send the link to your post plus your BSC wallet address. The team checks that the share is real and public, then mints a free promo Common (ids 1001–1309) straight to your wallet — no gas, no claim transaction on your side. One promo CATGEN per person; fake or deleted shares do not count.

How is the holder pool funded?

Manually, by the team — under a published split. First-sale (mint) proceeds: 60% to the pool, 20% to a buyback fund, 20% to the team — the buyback fund buys CATGENs back from the market and those NFTs are awarded to the collection's top holder. Secondary-sale royalties (5%): 80% to the pool, 10% to the buyback fund, 10% to the team, forever. The team deposits the pool's share by hand; once BNB is deposited, it is locked as a holder obligation — it can only be claimed by holders and can never be withdrawn back by the team.

Do paid mints automatically fund the pool?

No. Nothing is added to the pool automatically by minting or by secondary sales. The team withdraws the proceeds and deposits the pool's share manually, following the published split (60% of first-sale proceeds, 80% of royalties).

How are pool rewards calculated?

By Power Score = rarity weight + segment bonus. Rarity weights: Legendary 400, Epic 100, Rare 40, Common 20. Genesis ids 1–10 score their weight +20%; paid-phase tokens (ids 301–1000) score +15%; free-phase tokens (ids 11–300) score the base weight; promo tokens (ids 1001–1309) score the Common base weight of 20. Of each deposit, 95% is split across minted tokens in proportion to their Power Scores; 5% goes to token #1310.

What happens to rewards when a CATGEN is sold?

The rewards stay with the NFT. Unclaimed pool share follows the NFT to its new wallet, and the current holder claims it.

What are the royalties?

5% on secondary sales, paid to the team wallet. Royalties are one of the sources the team uses to fund the holder pool through manual deposits.
